Osher at Dartmouth hosts its 23rd annual Summer Lecture Series, “A Decade of Challenge: Beyond 2020.” Sessions take place on Thursday mornings, July 9 through August 13, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Spaulding Auditorium in Hanover, NH. This year’s speakers will look beyond election-year chatter to explore issues that are likely to dominate the coming decade. This week’s speaker is Douglas Brinkley (Katherine Tsanoff Brown Chair in Humanities and Professor of History at Rice University) addressing “Restoring Faith in American Democracy.” Can we restore our belief that American democracy works, and works for everyone?
